A new solar garden will be installed on the rooftop at The Reserve at Mendota Village in Mendota Heights. We’re showing you the progress and look forward to sharing the photos and video once completed.
With 25 solar installations completed, At Home Apartments is excited to introduce multi-housing solar energy to the city of Mendota Heights. The Reserve at Mendota Village is a new addition to the AHA family of properties. Built in 2018 and leased-up soon after, the rooftop is the ideal location for the newest solar project. The solar panel installation is underway now and will soon actively produce energy. View the preparations as we begin the construction on the solar array.
The rooftop solar array being installed at The Reserve at Mendota Village will produce 178,800 kilowatt hours of electricity each year for at least 30 years. Because it requires 1 pound of coal to produce 1 kilowatt hour of electricity, it would take 178,800 pounds of coal each year to produce an equivalent amount of electricity.
A new tunnel connecting The Village at Mendota Heights to Dakota County parks and trails will be opening to pedestrians and cyclists on October 27, 2017. The underground walkway begins on the north side of MN-110 near the 110/Dodd intersection. The timing of the project is ideal for the new Mendota Plaza expansion project on the south side of MN-110.
The welcome addition to the neighborhood will allow nearby residents easy access to yoga, dining, and shopping while enjoying their active lifestyle. No need to start the car because walkers, bikers, runners, and rollers can go back and forth to The Village for their morning latte and lunchtime pizza.
A Ribbon Cutting celebration begins at 11:30 am and will be held rain or shine at the north side of the trail. Part of the ceremony will be the announcement of the new tunnel’s name. The City of Mendota Heights is holding a contest and you can join in the fun. Get more info>>

Meeting a need. There has not been a new multi-housing development in Mendota Heights, Minnesota for 30 years. We are proud to be a part of a new construction project which will include two nearby commercial buildings, ideal for a restaurant, coffee shop, and retail businesses. Inspired by the surrounding community, the yet-to-be-named project will be near slopes of lush green hills and flowing rivers. The apartment building will offer 139 one and two-bedroom apartment homes. Plans are for an opening in the summer of 2018 in Mendota Heights, MN.
