Founders Mike Cashill and Alan Spaulding began with two 14-unit turn-of-the-century brownstones on St. Paul’s Grand Avenue. The Twin Cities natives, who combined experience in property management and building maintenance, sought to build a better model for local property management. The vision was to acquire structurally solid apartment properties in good locations, make them better to live in, and manage them with genuine care, consistency, accountability, and attention to detail. After all, it’s more than an apartment. It’s a home.

We were the first property manager in Minnesota to invest in large-scale solar. In 2016, we took the bold step of installing a 148 kW solar garden on the parking ramp roof at CityVue Apartments in Eagan.
